I began creating fantasy art dolls at the beginning of 2004 after discovering the world of one of a kind sculpting on the internet. Inspiration is fired by myth, legend and stories, plus all forms of fantasy art, from novels and poetry to paintings and film. The tales of King Arthur and Celtic mythology also enthralled me as a child and this developed into a passion for Pre-Raphaelite art as I grew older - all still provide endless fodder for twitchy sculpting fingers nowadays.
These figures are completely hand sculpted - no molds are used - they begin as a block of clay and a coil of wire. Following sculpting and baking the features are hand-painted, right down to the finger nails, and the clothing is made and applied by hand, as is the hair, lock by lock. These are one-of-a-kind pieces and many hours of practice and patience have gone into their creation.

Hospice in the Weald
10% of all Ebrenn Elf sales on eBay is donated to the Hospice in the Weald, administered by eBay's charitable partner MissionFish. This is in recognition of the love, compassion and exemplary care shown my mother and my family during her illness and passing in July 2007.
